Talisker-Tuhaye Residential Golf Course Development
FRONTIER assisted Tuhaye, LLC with the environmental permitting for an approximately 2,000-acre master-planned residential golf course development located in Wasatch County, Utah. The project is located on the eastern foothills overlooking the Jordanelle Reservoir. The project is affiliated with Talisker Deer Valley and is an integral component of the four-season resort. FRONTIER coordinated Section 404 permitting requirements with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Mitigation entailed the rehabilitation of approximately 8 acres of native riparian-wetland plant communities in areas that were affected by overgrazing prior to Tuhaye's acquisition of the property, and the creation of approximately 2 acres of new wetlands that are integrated with stormwater management ponds. FRONTIER's duties included baseline plant community inventories, mitigation and monitoring design, compliance monitoring, and agency coordination.
