Rocky Mountain Power, New 345kV Transmission Line Corridor From Downey, ID to Salt Lake City, UT

FRONTIER completed a wetland, playa, and stream channel delineation and a threatened and endangered species evaluation for an approximately 40-acre substation and 134-mile transmission line on behalf of Rocky Mountain Power. The project area is located between the new Populus Substation, near Downey, Idaho and the Terminal substation south of Salt Lake City International Airport. The project area generally follows the U.S. Interstate 15 transportation corridor. FRONTIER coordinated the inter-state jurisdictional determination with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The project was completed under subcontract with Environmental Planning Group (EPG).
