Cedar Creek Wind Power Project

Western Energy and Cedar Creek Wind, LLC are planning a 5,000-acre wind power generation project in Bingham County, Idaho approximately 10 miles south of Idaho Falls. FRONTIER is assisting with environmental resource and permitting assessments, including: delineation of jurisdictional wetlands and waterbodies, habitat mapping, and impact assessments for federally-listed threatened and endangered species and state species of conservation concern, migratory bird surveys, nesting eagle surveys, grouse surveys, and raptor surveys. FRONTIER is coordinating an Avian and Bat Protection Plan with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Idaho Department of Fish and Game.
