Orem Falls Commercial Business Park
Frontier led an interdisciplinary team of engineers, architects and resource specialists to obtain a Section 404 permit from the Corps of Engineers to fill wetlands for the development of a 30-acre commercial business park near the old Geneva Steel Facilities in Utah County, Utah. Project required jurisdictional assessment of delineated wetlands, cultural resources assessment, T&E species assessment, analysis of alternative building layouts, and preparation of a comprehensive on-site mitigation and monitoring plan to replace unavoidable wetland impacts.
Procter & Gamble Corinne Canal Relocation Project
Frontier assisted the Procter & Gamble Paper Products Company to relocate approximately 6,200 linear feet of the historic Corinne Canal to accommodate the future expansion of its existing plant facilities in Box Elder County, Utah. Frontier coordinated Section 404 permitting authorizations with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The project required a delineation of jurisdictional wetlands and waters of the U.S., a threatened and endangered species impact assessment, cultural resources impact assessment, and mitigation for wetland and cultural resources impacts.
Freeport West 5600 West Industrial Warehousing Project
Frontier was the lead consultant for an interdisciplinary team of engineers, architects and resource specialists to obtain an Individual Permit from the Corps of Engineers to fill 2.71 acres of wetland for the development of three 450,000+ SF industrial warehouse buildings along the SR-201 intermodal transportation corridor in western Salt Lake City, Utah. The permitting approval required a jurisdictional assessment of delineated wetlands, cultural resources assessment, T&E species assessment, analysis of both on-site and off-site building alternatives and compensatory mitigation.
Station Park Transportation Oriented Development Project
Frontier was the lead environmental consultant to obtain a Corps of Engineers Individual Permit for the approximately 62-acre, master-planned, mixed-use Station Park TOD project located in Farmington, Utah. Frontier coordinated Corps of Engineers permitting approvals and compensatory mitigation to replace 5.9 acres of wetlands impacted by project development.
